New songs released!

Firstly, I want to promote, my wives and my song to our dear friends, Kim and Tomas, the wedding couple at the GA-church in Sundsvall on Saturday 11 of Jun 2011. It was the first gay wedding in that church ever and we were asked to write a song for them, so we did. Here it is: Allt det ljus. We are currently distributing this tune to Swedish media, hoping to get a good response.

Secondly, there is another remix released today, and it’s a gospel song originally made by Edin/Ådahl in 1991, that I made into a dance remix. The original is by Edin/Ådahl and I’ve made it into something completely different – please have a listen here: Reser till kärlek (Chuck Dread Remix).

Some news for you here. I’m in a band again after nearly 8 years. Recording of the first album and video is in progress and we’ve already got some interest from Italian radio, Swedish rock magazines and some clubs in Europe. I won’t tell you any more now, ‘cayse we want to hit you hard when the time comes. Cheers!

Happy New Year!

I have had a very busy Autumn, and not all have been about music. That’s why I haven’t written for a while. I’ve moved house, from Gothenburg to Sundsvall, but not yet moved to the final destination. So my studio is resting in boxes for the moment and I’m focusing on other work than music.

Despite this, there’s been some musical activity. I played at Gina Jacobi’s release party in October, and we’ve made some radio interviews and worked with promoting her album.

Some news for you….

I’ve started a publishing company! The first artist has been signed and a release is set for September this year. But, until all papers are in order I can’t reveal more than that for the moment…. Exciting!!

New remix of new Swedish talent on the go

It’s been a while, but I’ve been very busy with songwriting and work. The other day I was asked to remix a new track for the upcoming Swedish star Alexandra Jacovidou. Like that! The music is kind of Greek/Mediterranean influented and it really grooves. I feel I need to do my best here…. Looking forward to it!

Apart from that, I’ve recorded som instruments for the future albums by Peter Graae and Gina Jacobi. Gina’s first single, that I play bass on, is due to be released on June 12.

Also, a hectic May resulted in a lot af new songs, all not fully recorded yet, but some will be smashing.

New remix of Emmon

Tonight, I finished a remix of Emmon‘s Lips On Fire. This remix is for a competition held by Release Magazine, and the winner is announced some time in May, hopefully. This track was real joy to work with! I hope you all get to hear it eventually.
