New remix of new Swedish talent on the go

It’s been a while, but I’ve been very busy with songwriting and work. The other day I was asked to remix a new track for the upcoming Swedish star Alexandra Jacovidou. Like that! The music is kind of Greek/Mediterranean influented and it really grooves. I feel I need to do my best here…. Looking forward to it!

Apart from that, I’ve recorded som instruments for the future albums by Peter Graae and Gina Jacobi. Gina’s first single, that I play bass on, is due to be released on June 12.

Also, a hectic May resulted in a lot af new songs, all not fully recorded yet, but some will be smashing.

New remix of Emmon

Tonight, I finished a remix of Emmon’s Lips On Fire. This remix is for a competition held by Release Magazine, and the winner is announced some time in May, hopefully. This track was real joy to work with! I hope you all get to hear it eventually.

A Chuck Dread remix might end up on a CD soon

I’ve heard rumors saying that my remix made for the band Seize [UK], If Tomorrow Never Comes, might end up on a CD very soon, along with another bunch of remixes made by all sorts of talented producers from all over. So stay tuned for more info about this.

Chuck Dread takes a real good spin in the world of MP3 podcasting

A new/old release

Quoting the Strangers In Wonderland Newsletter as of today:

NEW PODSAFE RELEASE FROM STRANGERS IN WONDERLAND

Yes we are still addicted! Addicted to that Wonderland!
And on top of that we were a bit surprised when the remix of our song Addicted took off here in Sweden.
Taken from our album Shadows in made into the Official Swedish Single Chart and the Download list in November and December.

But it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. We invite you to listen and we hope you agree with us that it has all the elements of a hit.

The remix was done by the prominent and talanted Swedish producer Fredrik Muskos (alias Chuck Dread), who also worked on remixes with artists like Sofia Talvik, Roxette, BWO and Doublepark.
It was an honour to work with Fredrik and we are more than pleased with the way he added that extra pop shine to the song.
