Chuck Dread takes a real good spin in the world of MP3 podcasting

What I wrote about in my previous entry, the podsafe release from Strangers In Wonderland, seems to have taken off quite quickly in the podcasting world.

A new/old release

Quoting the Strangers In Wonderland Newsletter as of today:

NEW PODSAFE RELEASE FROM STRANGERS IN WONDERLAND

Yes we are still addicted! Addicted to that Wonderland!
And on top of that we were a bit surprised when the remix of our song Addicted took off here in Sweden.
Taken from our album Shadows in made into the Official Swedish Single Chart and the Download list in November and December.

But it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. We invite you to listen and we hope you agree with us that it has all the elements of a hit.

The remix was done by the prominent and talanted Swedish producer Fredrik Muskos (alias Chuck Dread), who also worked on remixes with artists like Sofia Talvik, Roxette, BWO and Doublepark.
It was an honour to work with Fredrik and we are more than pleased with the way he added that extra pop shine to the song.

Climbing the chart

After the first week on the Swedish single chart, Addicted (Chuck Dread Remix) is climbing to position #54!

Challenger on the P3 Swedish Tracks list – Trackslistan

We’ve just found out that my remix of Strangers In Wonderland’s Addicted (Chuck Dread Remix) has entered the P3 Swedish Tracks list as a challenger this week. We’re pleased to hear, since it’s been some confusion wheather my remix or the original version has been played, but this week it’s certainly been my remix. Yahoo, we’re famous for another 15 minutes :)

Strangers In Wonderland – Addicted (Chuck Dread Remix) entered the official Swedish single chart today! As one of many newcomers this week it got in at position #55. Wohoo!!!! 

My remix is #6 and #3 on the iTunes charts

Today, my remix of Strangers In Wonderland’s Addicted (Chuck Dread Remix), peaked at #3 on the iTunes pop chart and #6 on the overall iTunes download chart! And I’m referring to the Swedish iTunes charts, if anyone wonders. But still, 3 weeks on the CDON and iTunes charts is not bad!

Still hanging in there! I’m talking about my remix of Strangers In Wonderland’s Addicted (Chuck Dread Remix). Today it holds position #6 on the Swedish iTunes pop chart and #13 on the CDON download chart. Not bad being on the charts for over a week!

Just checked the charts and today my remix of Strangers In Wonderland’s song Addicted is on #3 on the CDON Download chart. The position on the iTunes pop chart has surprisingly gone up to #9 today! Thanks to all of you who obviously like my – and the Strangers’ – music!
